and
Sponsored by Rice Consulting
Services, Inc. (www.riceconsulting.com),
a world recognized leader in Quality and Testing Training.
Take advantage of one or both of these powerful training opportunities in software testing coming to Oklahoma City!
On Monday and Tuesday (May 19 - 20, 2008), Randy Rice will be presenting one of his newest courses, Agile and Exploratory Testing.
Everybody is talking about agile methods for software projects, but what does that mean for testers? In this course, you will learn all kinds of new techniques for building and testing software faster to meet the needs of business.
Then, on Wednesday through Friday (May 21 - 23, 2008), you can get trained to get certified in software testing!
This is a
course
designed for people seeking certification based on the International
Software
Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) certification program. This is
suitable
for people just getting into the field of software testing, or for
people who
just need a refresher course or validation for their current testing
techniques.
This is a
practical
seminar to cover the critical path of testing. Your instructor will be
Randy
Rice, a recognized authority in the field of software testing and a
member of
the Board of Directors of the American Software Testing Qualifications
Board (ASTQB).
You will learn the terminology, process, and challenges of testing in
the real
world. As a result of attending this seminar, you should have a good
working
knowledge of software testing and what it takes to design and conduct
an
effective test of software, regardless of the technology. You should
also be
prepared to take the CTFL (Certified Tester Foundation Level) exam.
The
International Software Testing Qualifications Board was
started in 2002 and through a network of national test certification
boards has
certified over 80,000 testers in 36 countries. The basic level of
certification
is the Certified Software Tester Foundation Level (CTFL). The basis for
the
CTFL is the Foundation Level Syllabus and Glossary, which can be
downloaded
from www.astqb.org.
The American Software Testing Qualifications Board (ASTQB) was founded in 2004. Over 3,300 testers have been certified in the USA since 2004.
